THIS EVENT HAS PASSED! Come support this fundraising event for Pagan Pride Day 2010, benefit from spiritual and physical rejuvenation, and maybe win a prize in the raffle!

Pagan Pride LA/OC is holding our (somewhat) annual Healing Faire this year on August 14, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at a new store - The Green Man - a newly opened store at 5712 Lankershim Blvd., North Hollywood (just north of Burbank Blvd.) Suggested donation $5, no one turned away for lack of funds.

This event is not to miss because it features some healers who might not otherwise be able to appear at PPD. The flyer is here. Print it out for yourself or distribute it to your friends!

• Opal Moon Henna: Henna & Glitter Body Art, Hennaed Artifacts.

Raffles at 1:00 P.M. and 4:00 P.M.

Workshops include:

• 12:00 noon: Chakra Balancing with Music & Musical Tones Workshop by Witchcraft Music: Use the power of music to heal, balance and attune your Chakras. In this workshop learn how musical tones, recorded music, & mantras help align your chakras. Dr. Alfred Surenyan will show methods used on how music can heal and balance the chakras. Music and musical tones can be used along with crystals, color, and symbols, and Mantras to align the Chakras.
• 1:30 p.m.: Healing with Herbal Medicines by Julie James. Plants were our first medicines, and are still one of the primary medicines used in many cultures throughout the world. We must reconnect with that herbal heritage that was once handed down from mother to child, and relearn the simple and profound methods of healing using the plant allies that surround us. Come learn about some common and uncommon plants and how to use them for a wide range of ailments with Julie James, herbalist.
• 3:00 p.m.: Griffin ap Ked: Learn healing based on the Sight and the working of energy and magic to effect illness. How to work ones own energy in preparation for such work and how to clear oneself after... and the importance of doing so. This workshop will touch on using basic tools and other little gems for the bag of tricks. Old time craft hands on healing approach for general Craft folks.
